The haunted attraction park off I-75 in Dade City is going all-in on clowns.
SCREAM-A-Geddon announced July 20 that it will invest $2.5 million to overhaul its central midway into a clown-themed zone called "Bonzo's Bizarre" before the 2026 season opens Aug. 29. The park, located at 27839 Saint Joe Road off exit 285, sits in Pasco County about 20 minutes north of Wesley Chapel.
"We've been scaring Tampa Bay for more than a decade, and as we grow, we're committed to investing in the guest experience," said Jon Pianki, the park's chief marketing officer. He said the renovated midway and broader upgrades aim to make this the park's most ambitious season yet.
Clown-Run Midway Replaces Old Fairground Space
Bonzo's Bizarre replaces the old midway with carnival games, food vendors, beer and wine service, fire pits and covered pavilions. The park describes the area as a clown-run playground of "sinister surprises."
Five fan-favorite haunted houses return for 2026: Killgore's 3D Circus, Bloodwater Bayou, Breach, Ravenhill Asylum and Demon's Revenge. SCREAM-A-Geddon bills itself as one of the largest independent haunted scream parks in the country.
Season Runs Through Early November With Presale Discount
The season runs select dates from Aug. 29 through Nov. 1. Gates open at 7 p.m. each operating night.

The park recommends the experience for adults and teens. It is not recommended for guests who are pregnant or have heart conditions.
