Pasco County voters can now track ballot returns in near real time ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.

Supervisor of Elections Brian Corley announced Thursday, Oct. 1, that the county's voter-turnout tracker is live on PascoVotes.gov. It updates every 10 minutes through 6 p.m. on Election Day.

As of Oct. 1, the figures reflect only returned vote-by-mail ballots. The elections office has mailed more than 51,000 ballots, with new requests processed daily. Early-voting totals will be added once in-person voting begins Oct. 19.

"Posting voter turnout is part of our commitment to transparency with elections in Pasco County," Corley said.

Early voting runs Oct. 19-31

Twelve sites across Pasco County will offer early voting from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Saturday, Oct. 31.

Wesley Chapel-area locations include New River Library at 34043 State Road 54, Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus at 3021 Sports Coast Way and Wesley Chapel District Park at 7727 Boyette Road.

Pasco voters may use any early-voting site in the county. Live wait times will be available online.

Mail ballot requests due Oct. 22

The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, according to the Wesley Chapel Community Website.

Requests can be made online or by calling 800-851-8754.

Completed mail ballots must reach the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. Nov. 3. They can be mailed, delivered to an elections office or placed in a secure ballot intake station at an early-voting site during voting hours. Mail ballots cannot be turned in at Election Day polling places.

Election results will begin appearing online after polls close at 7 p.m.

Free rides to the polls

GoPasco will offer free bus rides to polling places from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 3.

Riders must show a valid Voter Information Card. The service is available on Election Day but not during early voting, NatureCoaster.com reported when the program was announced in August.

"This partnership benefits the voters of Pasco County and epitomizes good government," Corley said at the time.
