The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is searching for Paul Coban, a 25-year-old man who went missing in Dade City, marking the latest in a series of disappearances across the county that have included Wesley Chapel.
Coban was last seen on Monday, Aug. 3, at approximately 5:30 a.m. in the TLC Lane area of Dade City, according to an alert the sheriff's office posted on Wednesday, Aug. 5. The case falls under PCSO's District 2.
He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 160 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a T-shirt and pants.
The sheriff's office did not provide details about the circumstances of Coban's disappearance, a vehicle description or information about where he may have been headed.
Pattern across Pasco County
Coban's case is one of several missing person searches PCSO has conducted across the county in recent months. On Tuesday, July 28, deputies issued an alert for Dakota Rubel in Wesley Chapel. On Sunday, Aug. 2, the office posted a missing person notice for Lourdes Arocha in Port Richey. Earlier this summer, deputies searched for John Slayback in New Port Richey after he was reported missing on Sunday, June 21.
The searches have spanned communities from Lutz and Land O' Lakes to Zephyrhills, reflecting a countywide demand on sheriff's office resources.
Dade City, the Pasco County seat, sits roughly 20 miles northeast of Wesley Chapel. Both communities fall under PCSO jurisdiction, and the tip line is available to all Pasco County residents.
