A 12-piece Latin orchestra headlines a dance night at Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Orchestra Fuego Live, a Land O' Lakes-based salsa band with more than two decades of performing experience, tops the bill at the event called Opening Night at Saddlebrook. The evening mixes salsa, Latin freestyle and '80s and '90s hits. DJ Mike Sensation rounds out the lineup.

Show Runs Until 2 A.M. At Lagoon Pavilion

The show runs from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the resort's Lagoon Pavilion, 5700 Saddlebrook Way. Tickets cost $31.03 through Eventbrite.

Chris Maloof of Maloof Entertainment is organizing the event. A Patch listing for the show nods to the resort's roots, noting that Saddlebrook opened in 1981.

Orchestra Fuego plays salsa, merengue, bachata, bolero and cha-cha, according to All Music Magazine. The band is based in the Tampa Bay area.

Event Coincides With Hispanic Heritage Month

The dance night falls during Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.

Saddlebrook's Lagoon Pavilion features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the lagoon, according to the resort's events page. The venue hosts a monthly concert series and other recurring programming. Wesley Chapel Biz first reported on the event.
