LiveWell Animal Hospital of Wesley Chapel marks its official arrival on Wesley Chapel Boulevard with a North Tampa Bay Chamber ribbon cutting Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 26855 Wesley Chapel Blvd.

The chamber-organized ceremony runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the ribbon cutting itself at 11:30 a.m., according to a chamber Instagram post promoting the event.

The practice already accepts walk-in and same-day appointments for routine care. Dr. Zirkle, a University of Florida-trained veterinarian with a focus on internal medicine and preventive healthcare, is on staff, according to the hospital's social media.

Chamber's nonprofit showcase set for day before

The day before the ribbon cutting, the North Tampa Bay Chamber hosts its "Pitch with a Purpose: Non-Profit Showcase" from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the third-floor conference center at Pasco-Hernando State College's Porter Campus, 2727 Mansfield Blvd., Wesley Chapel.

The panel discussion, moderated by Chuck Sullivan, managing partner of McFarland, Gould, Lyons, Sullivan & Hogan, P.A. and a chamber board member, features four nonprofit chamber members: Dads Figure It Out Foundation, Elks Lodge #2893, Premiere Community HealthCare and Suicide Prevention Training Institute. Each organization will discuss its mission and how local businesses can support them through partnerships, volunteerism, sponsorships and advocacy, the chamber said in a LinkedIn post on July 27.

Registration costs $25 for chamber members and $35 for non-members. Advance registration is required and seats are limited.
