Little Greek Fresh Grill, Olive Garden and Seasons 52 are all under construction along Wesley Chapel Boulevard, adding three new restaurants to the south Wesley Chapel commercial corridor.

Little Greek confirmed a lease in June for a location at 33787 Wesley Chapel Blvd., in Phase II of the Shops at New River near New River Road. The fast-casual Mediterranean chain's Wesley Chapel location page is live and lists the restaurant as under construction, though no opening date has been announced.

The plaza is filling up fast.

Developer Charlene Worrell of Suncoast Retail Developers, Inc. told Neighborhood News Online on June 17 that only one 1,250-square-foot end cap remained available. Bubbakoo's Burritos and Wesley Chapel Dental Care are also confirmed tenants in Phase II, which sits next to the plaza anchored by 2+2 Restaurant.

"We have one 1,250-sq.-ft. end cap space remaining at Shops of New River – Phase II, located next to 2+2 Restaurant," Worrell said in the June 17 report.

Little Greek, led by President Nick Vojnovic, operates 50 locations across six states and aims to reach 100 by 2031, according to an Aug. 25 expansion announcement on Franchising.com. That announcement listed the Wesley Chapel site as "Lutz," but the address places it squarely in Wesley Chapel's 33543 ZIP code area. The chain already has nearby locations in New Tampa and Land O' Lakes.

Separately, construction is underway at the southwest corner of Wesley Chapel Boulevard and Gateway Drive for a new retail plaza that will house an Olive Garden, a Seasons 52 and a Heartland Dental office, North Tampa Buzz reported Aug. 28. The site sits near I-75 on one of the south Wesley Chapel corridor's highest-traffic stretches.

No opening dates have been announced for any of the projects. The Shops at New River Phase II is expected to begin welcoming tenants later in 2026, according to a July report from the Wesley Chapel Loop.
