Cypress Creek High School hosts the East Pasco College & Career Fair in its gym Wednesday, Oct. 7.

The fair runs alongside the ESE Transition Services Fair, giving Wesley Chapel families a single stop to explore college options and support services for students in exceptional student education programs. The event is open to students and families across all grade levels, according to the school's Community Howler Hub, the weekly newsletter published by Principal Carin Hetzler-Nettles' office.

The school has promoted the fair since its Sept. 4 newsletter, describing it as a chance for families to explore postsecondary options and transition resources. Cypress Creek was named a Unified Champion School by Special Olympics in its Sept. 25 newsletter, a designation that recognizes schools for inclusive programming.

Also returning in October is the Kindness Café, a gathering for families of students with special needs to connect and participate in activities together. No specific date has been set.

The week of Oct. 5-10 also brings the Howl-O-Ween Pep Rally, with grade-level themes already assigned. Student participation details are available in the full Howler Hub newsletter.

Beyond those events, the school is collecting donations through an extended food and hygiene drive and seeking community volunteers for the Great American Teach-In, which asks adults to spend one hour sharing their career with students.

The Pasco County Family Feedback Survey opens Monday, Oct. 5, and runs through Friday, Oct. 16.
