Pasco County Schools students have free access to Khan Academy and its AI-powered learning assistant, Khanmigo, according to an Oct. 27 announcement from Cypress Creek High School.
Wesley Chapel's Cypress Creek High School announced the district-wide access on Tuesday, Oct. 27, encouraging families to use the tools at home. The school said the platforms can help students in class and at home with personalized lessons, practice activities, instructional videos and test prep across math, science, reading and social studies.
The cost to families: nothing.
Using the tools at home
Cypress Creek listed several ways families can use Khan Academy and Khanmigo outside the classroom:
- Reviewing skills taught in class
- Getting extra help with homework
- Preparing for quizzes, tests and exams
- Filling learning gaps in any subject
- Exploring topics of personal interest
The school encouraged families to have students spend a few minutes each week on the platform. The announcement did not include a specific login link or instructions for home access. Families can contact their child's school for details.
