Pizza World, a family-owned Florida pizza chain, is scheduled to open its first Wesley Chapel location Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 26863 Wesley Chapel Blvd. near Lexington Oaks.

The restaurant will offer carryout and delivery without dine-in seating. Hours are scheduled for 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, according to Pizza World's official website.

Customers will be able to place pickup and delivery orders online, according to the Wesley Chapel Community Website.

Specialty pizzas headline the menu

Pizza World's menu features a variety of specialty pizzas made with fresh dough and homemade sauce, according to The Wesley Chapel Loop.

Options include taco pizza, Jamaican jerk chicken pizza with red onions and pineapple, and the Big Dill, topped with dill pickles and ranch dressing. Other choices include the Meat Grande, supreme and buffalo chicken pizzas.

Customers can also build their own pizzas with a selection of toppings.

For larger groups, the restaurant offers its Big World Pizza, a 24-inch round pie.

Bone-in and boneless wings are available in flavors including mango habanero, Nashville hot and garlic Parmesan.

More than pizza and wings

The menu also includes calzones, oven-baked subs, pasta dishes and specialty salads.

Dessert options include cinnamon rolls, cinnamon sticks served with icing and chocolate chip cookies.

Pizza World also promotes online specials and combination deals through its website.

The company operates other locations in the Tampa Bay area, including Palm Harbor and New Port Richey, according to The Wesley Chapel Loop.
